Media Rights
To maximize the revenue opportunities, the content partner would ideally grant the Longtail Distribution Network a 5-year exclusive worldwide license to distribute your programs via:
- DVD
- Electronic Sell Through (EST) including; Download to Own (DTO) and Download to Rent (DTR)
- Internet Pay-Per-Stream
- Advertising Supported Streaming Video
Concerns you may have regarding the term, territory, media rights and platforms can be discussed. We understand that we are requesting a broad set of rights and that certain programs may either be encumbered with other license agreements or you may have strategic reasons that requires change. Longtail can discuss modifications to this rights package to mitigate any concerns or potential existing or anticipated conflicts.
To mitigate your potential legal expenses, we would be pleased to provide you, for your consideration, with our standard licensing agreement.
