It should be stated on our website that the actual total running time for the package of 19 programs is 450 minutes. We have corrected our website and the description for the download. The download time as calculated by our partner - Mindbites - is slightly longer. We're not completely sure why, except that each video has a short animated logo from us at the beginning and end of each clip. Mindbites calculation of 454 minutes is likely more accurate, since it is automatically generated by counting every frame of every clip, while for the DVDs we round the total time for each segment and ignore a few seconds or frames. In broadcast television programs are generally presented as 1/2-hours or full hours. But, they are of course much shorter, since they must accommodate commercials. There are no commercials included in the downloads or on the DVD and the time allotted for them have been edited out.
